Valenite V550 Face Mills
For V555 and V556 Face Mill Cutters

Designed to hold Pentagon insert with 5 cutting edges (competitively priced with 4-edge square inserts of equivalent size, with minimal change in DOC capability).
Robust insert (0.216" thick) has 30 percent more carbide than equivalent size squares resulting in longer tool life and increased production of the insert seat and cutter body.
Cutter bodies are all designed to take full advantage of Valenite's optional coolant screws.
Quick, Easy Indexing for minimum downtime
Positive, free cutting design with an effective cutting angle 25°, and an axial rake of 15°
